Accreditation course outline

The course covers:

The origin, theory and definition of the nine Belbin Team Roles
The relationships between the Belbin Team Roles
How to generate and understand the key Belbin Team Role reports
How to interpret and analyse Belbin Team Role reports (using your own reports if possible)
Uses to which Belbin Team Roles can be applied, e.g. teambuilding, personal and organisational development, coaching, recruitment, training needs and job analysis
Practical exercises on giving feedback to individuals and teams
Use of case studies to show how to use the model to improve individual and team effectiveness

As far as possible, we will tailor aspects of the course to the particular needs of attendees. We use presentations, discussion, DVDs, practical exercises and games to facilitate learning.

There is a test at the end of the course, which takes about 60 minutes to complete.

It is probably one of the best courses I have ever attended – in terms of content, structure and delivery. The course included several approaches to maximise learning and ensure it “sticks”. Examples include high quality video and pre-course material to ensure an understanding of principles at the start of the course, reflective questions on course material, and course material presented at a length to avoid cognitive overload.

The Belbin accreditation course costs £1395 + VAT per person.

We offer a number of options: face-to-face and online, 1:1 or for groups.

Face-to-face (in person - Cambridge UK). Three full days which include the practical element of the accreditation.
Online. Four x three-hour online trainer led sessions. Followed by an online practical session which is integral to the accreditation.
